The GOP Convention is Doomed to Chaos

Newly added rule No. 42 to the “Rules of the Republican Party” states, 

“Rule Nos. 25 through No. 42 shall be the temporary rules of the next national convention and its committees and subcommittees.”

They slipped that one in seemingly unnoticed. I’m guessing that most are not rule-reading nerds like me. Thank god PDF files from places like the RNC or FEC are considered light reading to me. 

Rules Nos. 25 through 41 literally cover the ENTIRE convention process as we know it. By adding this “Temporary Rule” into the mix, it’s clear that the Establishment has every intention of throwing us for a loop in August. Everything from making changes to our platform, to actually electing our presidential nominee, to simple things like how one goes about calling for a point of order. Most importantly, it makes the all-important Rule No. 38, the “Unit Rule”, null and void. For those of you who don’t know, the “Unit Rule” states, “No delegate or alternate delegate shall be bound by any attempt of any attempt of any state or Congressional district to impose the unit rule.” Basically, it’s our chance to make Dr. Paul the nominee of the Republican Party.

This disgraceful attempt by the Establishment to undermine its own party members is almost laughable. If they attempt to change every single rule associated with our convention at the last minute, they insure only one thing. THE DEMISE OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AS WE KNOW IT. 

All we, the Liberty Movement, need to do is sit back and watch it happen. They are expecting us to cause a scene. They are banking on us being the crazed Ron Paul supporters we’ve been characterized as in the Main Stream Media. 

But we will be so much more than that…

We will be the defenders of liberty. The champions of the Constitution. The future leaders of a truly free republic.

So listen to the good Doctor when he tells you to be respectful and civil at the convention. He knows what’s coming. This is their game to lose, and they don’t need any help from us to do it.

Familiarize yourself with ALL the rules of the convention *HERE*. Knowledge and education are the best weapons in the fight for liberty!
